SOLIS
The Solis EV team is a group of students from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. They come from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Robotics, and Production Management. The team has been working tirelessly over the last year to develop the second version of the SOLIS EV solar vehicle.
The SOLIS EV solar vehicle is an innovative and sustainable project that aims to promote the use of renewable energy sources in transportation. It is powered entirely by solar energy and has no emissions, making it an eco-friendly alternative to traditional gasoline-powered vehicles. The vehicle is designed to be lightweight, efficient, and environmentally friendly.
The first version of the SOLIS EV solar vehicle was developed in 2019, and since then, the team has been working on improvements to make the vehicle more efficient and sustainable. Solis V3 is the latest project from the Solis EV team.
Building on the success of their previous models, the team had designed an even more efficient and sustainable solar vehicle.
The Solis V3 is featuring advanced solar panels with higher energy conversion efficiency, allowing for more efficient use of solar power. Additionally, the vehicle’s frame is made even more lightweight to increase energy efficiency and performance. The team had explored new battery technologies to improve energy storage and management.
